Chad A. Flood 418 A A Meyers Rd. Sulphur, La 70665 Mobile: 702-271-8257 Email: floodchad@gmail.com Thirteen years
of formal education and experience ranging from USMC to on-hands industrial
exposure at Sasol Mega Project, lends me to any employer as a Senior Planner
Scheduler / Project Engineer. After obtaining my Primavera (P6)(version
8.3.2), certification from Oracle University, I applied my knowledge of
strategic analysis and risk management in the activity placement and
durations, along the critical paths to meet cost, budget, and milestone
alignment. All emphasis of the schedule were consistent with the client
(Fluor) which allotted the opportunity to field verify all work being
completed. I developed construction
schedules to support the work of the estimating group. I will obtain
the required knowledge of the work being performed as well as the logic and
durations from preliminary estimate information. Along with this, I will also
prepare project cost estimates for the different number of trades, configure
the quantity take-offs from the available documents, and enter those into the
standardized database. The work will be organized to meet the companies’ and
clients’ expected structure. I have extensive knowledge in originating, implementing, and managing
complex projects. I’m able to derive at strategies for the method of
executing work, such as developing larger packages to be handled as projects
where savings can be realized from the use of value-improving practices. I
will prepare medium and long range plans to support efficient field
results. This supports me closely working with unit personnel and
provide feedback on the quality and prioritize the notifications which
maintenance and or turnarounds receive. I use the information received from
unit personnel, and develop planning packages to an appropriate level of
detail for the task summary and detailed schedules, including appropriate critical path logic,
activity durations and resource loading from either estimates created by
colleagues or self-performed. These may be to support the estimating group or
to support an operating project on an as needed basis. I’m
able to do take-off elements of
the work accurately and assign them to the appropriate items in the estimate
database. I possess a strong attention to detail and solicit subcontract and
vendor pricing. Organize the
schedule or estimate in a manner required to meet the needs of the project. My capabilities allow me to maintain the essence of a team-oriented objective. Evidence of my
critical thinking was the ability to raise production levels from a .38 to a
1.17 on a specific performance (Firewater Pond) of the Mega Project. Other
evidence is being able to raise a combat readiness percentage from 40% to 95%
in a timely fashion between conflicts which resulted in a Presidential Unit
Citation. I strongly believe in the implementation of securing the right
personnel to obtain company goals and aspirations, while maintaining cost,
augmenting production levels, and pledging safety as a non-negotiable. Skills and

Ground Airborne Radio System 2538A January 2004
to Present SINCGARS is a
new family of VHF-FM combat net radios which provides the primary means of
command and control for Infantry, Armor and Artillery Units. SINCGARS is
designed on a modular basis to achieve maximum commonality among the various
ground and airborne system configurations. A common Receiver Transmitter (RT)
is used in the manpack and all vehicular configurations. SINCGARS family of
radios has the capability to transmit and receive voice, tactical data and
record traffic messages and is consistent with NATO interoperability
requirements. The system operates on any of the 2320 channels between 30-88
megahertz and is designed to survive in a nuclear environment. COMSEC for the
basic radio is provided by use of the VINSON device. An Integrated COMSEC (ICOM)
version of the SINCGARS is currently in production. SINCGARS is operable in a
hostile environment through use of Electronic Counter Countermeasure (ECCM).
SINCGARS replaces the current standard manpack and vehicular radios,
AN/PRC-77 and AN/VRC-12 family, respectively. An airborne version of the
SINCGARS radio is in production and will replace the currently standard
aircraft radios, AN/ARC-114 and AN/ARC-131. The Single Channel Ground
and Airborne Radio System (SINCGARS) provides commanders with a highly
reliable, secure, easily maintained Combat Net Radio (CNR) that has both
voice and data handling capability in support of command and control
operations. SINCGARS, with the Internet Controller, provides the
communications link for Task Force XXI. SINCGARS configurations include
manpack, vehicular (both low and high power), and airborne models.
Communications Security (COMSEC) is integrated in currently produced versions
of the ground and the airborne radios, and the System Improvement Program
(SIP) models providing upgrades to enhance operational capability. |
